Fred Stone

Head of Business Development

Fred Stone is Head of Business Development, International, for King Worldwide. In this role, Fred is responsible for building client relationships across King Worldwide and its companies, managing product development and developing King Worldwide’s IR services business. 

Prior,  Fred was Head of IR Solutions and Training and Consulting at the London Stock Exchange where he created and managed the Exchange’s investor relations business, including RNS, Europe’s leading service for the distribution of price sensitive information. As Head of the Exchange’s Training and Consulting team, Fred has advised companies and stock exchanges in Europe, the Middle East and Africa on demutualization, and market and regulatory development. Previously, Fred was Managing Director of Thomson Financial Investor Relations and Technimetrics, a position he held for 11 years, heading and building the firm’s EMEA business. Over a 20 year career in investor relations, Fred has developed industry leading IR advisory services and data products serving over 250 companies in 20 countries. 

Before his career in IR, Fred was a fund manager with Globe Investment Trust. Fred is a former deputy Chairman of both the UK Investor Relations Society and the International IR Society and is an acknowledged authority on international IR, most recently speaking at IR events in the UK, Russia and Japan. Fred holds an honors degree in law.
