Roland Tomforde

Mr. Tomforde serves as the Global Head of Consulting for King Worldwide Investor Relations, the global investor relations division of King Worldwide. He also acts as the Chief Executive Officer of Taylor Rafferty and Broadgate Consultants. Roland helps clients develop and execute successful strategic communications programs employing public relations, branding, reputation management, and investor relations to realize business goals. Prior to the formation of King Worldwide Investor Relations, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for Taylor Rafferty.

Before Taylor Rafferty, Roland served as a Managing Director for Broadgate Consultants, a financial media and investor relations consultancy that merged with Taylor Rafferty in 2008. He worked extensively with Broadgate’s listed, alternative asset and investment management clients, and helped prepare private equity-backed portfolio companies for IPOs, sales to strategic buyers, and non-deal roadshows in advance of recapitalization.

Prior to joining Broadgate, Roland served as a Major in the United States Marine Corps, completing combat tours in the Balkans and Iraq. He double majored in History and German Literature at Yale University and received a Master in International Affairs from Columbia University. Roland sits on the board of the Stone Trust Corporation and is fluent in German.
